Vaughn Management and Services, Inc. was awarded the United States Navy Contract number N63394-09-P-0013 to provide on-site environmental support services for the environmental office of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD).

VMS provides environmental support services to NSWC PHD to achieve compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations of the Federal government and Department of the Navy (DON). VMS employees have in-depth knowledge of Federal Environmental Laws. In their professional activities they are entrusted with ensuring compliance with Federal and local environmental laws and regulations. They conducted environmental audits and assisted Government inspecting authorities in their tasks. The employees of VMS travel to other cities and states in which NSWC PHD Detachments operate (Louisville, KY, White Sands, NM, Virginia Beach, VA, and San Diego, CA) in order to facilitate compliance. They have experience traveling in Southern California, US and abroad to carry on environmental surveys, inspections and assessments of environmental programs.

VMS supports NSWC PHD to comply with Federal, State, Department of Defense (DOD), and DON environmental management practices.  VMS personnel manage various environmental programs and projects for all environmental media. They are experienced working for the Navy, international and domestic companies and local governments. VMS provides procedures, actions, and guidance to assist in implementing EMS that meets NSWC PHD mission needs which include documentation support that addresses the requirements of Executive Order 13423, OPNAVINST 5090.1C series DOD 5000.1, 2 SECNAVIST .2C and other applicable instructions, directives, policies and regulations. VMS employees possess excellent technical writing skills and prepared wide variety of required forms and documents for Federal and local authorities during the course of their employment as Environmental professionals.
